It's that time of year again
when we ask you for money. Time to renew your membership in HPSVGC
for 2007. The renewal period will begin Monday Oct. 2
through Wednesday Nov 15th. Due to a number of factors (1)
being that the NCGA has increased the cost the club pays for membership by $5
and (2) the fact that our membership has decreased by nearly 50% over the past
3 years the Board of Directors reluctantly voted to increase the membership
costs to our members by $10 per player. This increased amount will enable
us to maintain the tournament count, the prize fund, and various other costs
incurred by the club over the course of the year. We have maintained our
cost structure for the past 5 years and while we are forced to increase our
membership fees, we are still the cheapest game in town when it comes to NCGA
membership and are confident you all will understand the need for this
increase. For 2007 the renewal/new membership fees will be:
Renewal for
2007 $60 if paid
between 10/2/06 to 11/15/06 (if already existing member)
New Member for 2007 $85 joining anytime after 10/2/06
Late Renewal for
2007 $85 if paid after 11/15/06 (new or existing
members)
We will again have a full
schedule of tournaments next year including visits to Poppy Hills,
Attached are the 2007
new-member and renewal forms. Make a separate hard copy of the proper
form

indicating renewals received. If you do not intend to renew, it is not
necessary to respond - your name will be dropped from the club roster at the
end of the year.
